Twitter is reportedly reconsidering Elon Musk’s bid to take over. The $43bn offer first came in over 10 days ago after Musk declined to join Twitter’s board of directors, to which Twitter responded by dismissing his offer.
However, according to new reports, the social media giant is now “taking a fresh look” at his offer. The two are said to have met on Sunday to negotiate a potential deal, though no official comments have been made.
The social media company is expected to address the takeover bid during its first-quarter earnings call on Thursday, 28th.
Earlier this month, Elon Musk announced he had bought a 9 per cent stake in the Company and would join its board, only to decline the offer to join the board later on.
