Dirty Lines is a Dutch show on Netflix set in Amsterdam in the 1980s. Dirty Lines premiered on the platform on 8 April.
The series follows the story of a student who joins one of the first erotic phone lines in Europe at a time of huge social change in the Netherlands.
The show’s strong sexual theme has no limits as it dives into gay relationships, marriage, cheating; a myriad of wild sexual fantasies.
STORYLINE
Dirty Lines starts in 1987s Amsterdam, at a time when Dutch society was changing rapidly. Psychology student Marly Salomon takes on a side job working for a brand new firm: Teledutch – a company started by two brothers, Frank and Ramon Stigter, who established Europe’s first erotic telephone lines. Frank and Ramon become rich overnight and Marly finds herself immersed in this wild and rapid transformation.
