Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio,47 has donated $10million (£7.6million) to a fund for Ukraine.
His grandmother was born in Ukraine in 1915.
The actor was very close to his grandmother although raised mainly by his mother. His grandmother who was a supporter of his career from the beginning. She died in 2008 at the age of 93. He took her to premiers of many of his films, DiCaprio would call her ‘Oma’.
Ukraine has been under Russian invasion for almost two weeks, which has resulted in thousands of deaths and the widespread destruction of homes, schools, and hospitals.
The donation was announced by the International Visegrad Fund, according to Polish News.
