Earlier this week, Tesla CEO and Twitter’s newest stakeholder Elon Musk , ‘ took to Twitter and took a poll on whether users would want to have an edit button. The poll which has garnered more than four million votes so far shows that many users would indeed want an edit button.
Recently, Twitter revealed that it has begun testing out an edit button allowing users to alter published tweets. The company revealed the news on Tuesday, saying that it’s been “working on an edit feature since last year.”
Twitter head of consumer product Jay Sullivan shared that an edit button has been the most requested Twitter feature for years.
Twitter will begin testing the Edit Button ‘ with Twitter Blue subscribers first.
